Who's reality is this????

So I was watching Dr. Phil a few weeks ago, the topic is irrelevant but they were showing a an episode regarding a reality show. Now watching it I couldn't help but think, since it was so obvious, that there was still little Black presence on this tv. Years ago this was the case and we fought for our roles in entertainment and media. But its 2010, could this really still be the case? Is there really still the "token Black person role" and "token Hispanic role"? On this show in particular there were 6 women in total....guess how many were Black? One!

Yes one.

And as for Latinas, none...yup I said it none.

Now I am thinking, in what part of the world was this"reality" show taped? Some alternate universe where the reality of society is all White women and one Black woman. Statistics alone show that the percentages of Black women as well as Hispanic women far out weigh those of White women.
Enter the Black Latina Movement...you've read our mission, you know our background...and it just proves that alone through day time television our voice is yet to be heard.

We shall overcome and the Movement shall prevail!

I had to get Americans of African descent for the roles. Are there no black skinned Latina actors out there? I always got brown skinned responses to my call for very dark.
